Winemaking Information
Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Vinified on fine lees in 25hl oak casks with bâtonnage on biodynamic fruit days. Malolactic fermentation takes place. Each vintage, new wine is added to the solera cask started in 2012.

Fun Facts: The original Petrea was a solera experiment that began in 1997 and ended in 2007 when Delphine and Francis decided they wanted to start a new one from certified organic grapes. It was restarted in 2012 with a re-release in 2020.
