Winemaking Information

Fermented and aged in old barrels on the lees for at least 11 months. 50-80mg per liter of sulfur added at bottling.

Fun Facts: This cru bottling is a selection of the best grapes from the Steffensberg parcel, mostly from the middle of the slope where they they ripen optimally. The soil is red slate. The rest of the grapes are blended into the Detonation cuvée.
