Background
Andrew Latta began his wine journey bussing tables. He would ultimately rise to become head sommelier and then move on to winemaking. In 2011, after years working as winemaker for K Vintners, he set out to make his own wines. Latta focuses on the diverse terroirs of eastern Washington, searching out unique vineyards and less-common varietals. For each wine, he works closely with the growers, creating small-lot cuvées, often fewer than 100 cases of each. The wines are finely crafted and impressive for their depth and delicacy.
In addition to the Latta label, Andrew also has a second line called Kind Stranger– fun, affordable wines that are hit a sweet spot of value and quality.
