Winemaking Information
Grapes are fermented and macerated together in tanks for 15-30+ days. Aged for 7-8 months in a mix of old barrels - mostly 500l & 600l. Only minimal amounts of SO2 are added.
Vineyard Information
100% Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) selected from 1.6ha of assorted parcels - mostly in Inferno and Sassella. Vines average over 60 years old. Whole bunches may be used when stems are ripe.
